It's Been A While...

It's been quite an eventful few weeks and I'm way behind!! So here is my attempt to catch up...

Friday night, our stake put on this big stake activity in Springville at one of the presidency member's homes... it was amazing!! They had a BBQ, 2 hot air balloons, a live band, a bonfire with smores :), volleyball, dancing, hayrides, and a bunch of other random games and stuff. Karissa and our friend Sherry and I got to go in the hot air balloon. We didn't get to stay up there very long because there were so many people waiting, but it was still way cool! After that we ate dinner, then we got a fun group of people from the ward together and went on a hay ride around the town, singing random songs the whole way (I think the driver was gettin annoyed). Then we made smores and danced the night away. It was way fun! We have the best stake ever!!

The week before that, I got to drive down to California with my best friend Breanna to watch the Bailey kids for a few days. We drove down on Tuesday, went to the beach and got our nails done on Wednesday, and started watchin the kids on Thursday. It was a super fun weekend with lots of fun activities- we went to Chuck-E-Cheese, made crepes for breakfast, went to the LA zoo, tried to make pyramids in the family room, fed the ducks at the park, and took tons of pictures!!! We loved every minute of it! Thanks Danielle for lettin us come watch them!!

One of our attempts at making a pyramid... We were never successful - it's pretty hard to set the camera on the couch, have somone press the button, run over and try to make a pyramid before the timer goes of in ten seconds... We were laughin pretty hard!!

Another change is that I am now living in Kaysville. My cousin lives there and I am nannying for her for the summer. It has been so fun being there and I am looking forward to the rest of the summer!

I think that's about it for now! We went on a hike that I will write about later, but I will wait til I can get pictures up first!!
